Set on a stunning, 330-acre campus, the University of Stirling is a world-class university that has won multiple awards: Stirling has been Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence since 2008 and was lauded as the UK’s Sports University of the Year by the Times in 2020.  The University's Institute of Aquaculture has been awarded the Queen's Anniversary Prize.  Stirling prides itself on being a welcoming and thriving academic community with highly employable graduates.

In 2021, following a successful Ambassador Year in China (AYC) event for Stirling students and the successful application of two Stirling graduates for the role of Educational Ambassador on the general AYC programme, the University of Stirling are now supporting AYC to deliver a Stirling-AYC graduate scheme.

Final-year students and Stirling alumni who would like to apply for one of five places on the University of Stirling Ambassador Year in China graduate scheme are requested to submit an expression of interest to the University by 28th November 2021; please send your expression of interest to internship@stir.ac.uk.  Those who pass the first round of pre-screening successfully will be invited to submit a full application before 31st December 2021.

Successful candidates for the role of University of Stirling Graduate Ambassador are expected to be offered placements at schools in major central-eastern Chinese cities: Shanghai, Nanjing, Jinan and Hefei.
